Self Dumping Hoppers make cleanup easy and safe by keeping scrap materials out of the way. Scraps of wood, metal, drywall, nails, or roof tear offs can be be collected in one spot, protected from the weather and safeguarding workers. Self Dumping Hoppers are designed to dump when a release is actuated. After dumping, a hopper usually returns to an upright and locked position automatically. The dump release on some hoppers can be operated from the seat of the fork truck. For safety, a restraint is usually employed to secure the hopper to the fork truck. We have dumpers with weight capacities of 6,000 lbs.
Low Profile 90 Degree Self Dumping H Style Hoppers offer a 90° dump angle with a cushioned rubber bumper stop. The low profile design makes for convenient loading. Dumping occurs when a cable is pulled from the seat of the fork truck. The hopper returns to an upright and locked position when lowered to the ground. For safety, a restraint is provided to secure the hopper to the fork truck and must be attached to the fork truck when dumping the hopper. 22" long usable fork pockets are 7" wide x 2" high. The base thickness is 1/4". A blue powder coat finish is standard.
Steel Chute Hoppers are great for areas with limited space. They have a front door that opens to dump the hopper contents. The door automatically closes and locks after the hopper has been dumped. The front door is opened with a release cable that is operated from a safe distance. Units are moved with a fork truck. A safety chain is used to secure the hopper to the fork truck.
The Hopper with Fold Down Front Panel allows a worker to load the hopper with a wheelbarrow. Afterwards, a forklift can be used to move the hopper to the dumping area. The dump function is a full 90 degrees and is accomplished from the seat of the forklift using a pull cable.
Open Front Dumping Hoppers and Open Side Dumping Hoppers both allow for easy loading due to their open front or open sides. This reduces bending and lifting motions by people loading the hopper. After it is loaded, it can be moved and dumped using a forklift.
Portable Tilt Hoppers allow movement of debris over smooth surfaces and then dumping of the contents in the hopper, all by the worker without the use of a forklift. They are available in 3 different sizes.
Portable Steel Hoppers have casters to make handling waste and bulk material safer and convenient. Fork truck entry tubes are included to move the hoppers over rough terrain. Portable Steel Hoppers are not to be used as a self dumping hopper. Usable fork pockets are 7" x 2" on 21-5/8" centers (11-5/8" fork pocket center for ½ cubic yard capacity model only). A foot operated caster lock is included. These hoppers must be attached to the fork truck when dumping contents. Welded construction and powder coat blue finish make them durable.
Low Profile Hoppers have a low clearance height allowing use where other hopper may be too tall. They roll easily over smooth surfaces due 4"x 2" casters and the removable push handle.
Tapered Side Low Profile Hopper have a low loading height and move from location to location on 5"x2" casters via the use of the push handle. The push handle is removable and can be mounted on opposite sides.
Chip & Waste Hoppers also have a low height to clear when loading. The two permanently mounted handles allow the hoppers to be moved from one location to another over smooth surfaces on their 8"x2" casters.
3 Bin Recycling Hoppers make sorting 3 different materials on your job feasible and then movement of the same is accomplished by a forklift. All 3 bins can be dumped independently of the other 2 from the forklift seat by pulling one of 3 dump cables.
The Portable Steel Hopper With Power Traction Drive offers effortless mobility by the use of a DC electric motor with battery and an onboard battery charger. Similarly, the Gas Powered All Terrain Hopper moves from one place to another by a 6 HP Briggs & Stratton engine.
Fabric Hoppers - Quantity of 10 are an economical approach to both location cleanup and material storage. With a forklift, they are easily moved on one location to the other and then dumped using the bottom release.
