The C Series cantilever work platform gets operators above and on (or over) railcars, tank trucks and other tall industrial machinery. It’s steel base provides exceptional counter balance, while the lightweight aluminum upper body provides single user operability.

A large, six square foot work platform provides ample room for an operator as well as parts and tools. The self supporting platform extends 2’ 5”(736.6mm) beyond the base of the chassis, providing access while eliminating contact with the equipment being serviced.

The easy steer design and large no-flat tires allow a single operator to easily roll and position the unit, even over rough ground. The 360° swiveling wheels provide perpendicular or parallel movement and allow easy positioning. Wheels lock for stability. For efficient longer distance moves, forklift pockets allow rapid relocation.

Rolling Ladder Safety

Rolling ladders can be extremely helpful in an industrial setting, come with sturdy handrails, and are very safe to use as long as you and your employees follow these guidelines:

Perform Regular Inspections. Before climbing on the ladder, test the brakes. They should maintain a locked position behind the casters. Inspect rubber attachments that touch the floor, and make sure they’re intact. Shake the handrail to confirm that screws stay secure.

Stick to the Rules. Only one person at a time should use a rolling ladder unless it’s designed for two. Ensure that the total amount of your body weight plus tools and equipment you carry won’t exceed the maximum load. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Rely on a Helper. Don’t carry a full load up the ladder. First, reach the top, then a buddy should hand you things from the floor. When you need to get off the ladder and push it somewhere, your buddy can stand in front to make sure the path is clear.

Maintain a Stable Position. Your body should have three points of contact on a rolling ladder. Keep your two hands on the railings and one foot on the stairs. Or keep one hand on the railing and two feet on the stairs. For stability, wear dry, slip-proof shoes.

The M-2000 is a good example of how many variants can be available. This rolling ladder has options for 16” and 24” inch widths, multiple options for 14”, 21”, and 28” deep top steps. Each of these has four different types of tread and between 5 and 15 stairs resulting in almost 50 different variations to choose from.

Many of our rolling ladders have a list of additional options for accessories such as signs, exits for the right, left, or rear, and fold down rails. Each ladder can be customized to fit the exact needs of any customer.

One of the most versatile ladders is the stock-picking rolling ladder. With up to 12 steps, the ladder comes with shelving underneath the ladder to load and transport items. They are easy to transport, but lock in place to ensure safety while using the ladder. The system can have up to 3 shelves and has a total weight capacity of up to 600 pounds.

50-degree ladders are the perfect solution for use in transporting items up and down. This is because the tilt of the steps allows for workers to safely descend the ladder while facing forwards. The lift table ladder makes transporting stock up and down even easier by using a lift table that can carry up to 300 pounds and be operated with the push of a button. This promotes the health and safety of workers while getting the job done faster.

For environments that require workers to access multiple heights with one ladder, we often recommend The G Series which is easily adjustable for height and self-leveling. This ladder is sturdy with a large workspace but is also built on casters that allow it to be moved easily by just one person. The ladder can be used indoors and outdoors with safety with a tread that makes it safe in any weather.
