Because these Stainless Steel Shelving units are made of stainless steel, they are both easy to clean and resistant to corrosion. This may make them ideal for your shelving requirements in a sanitary environment such as a restaurant or cafeteria or in a corrosive environment such as near a swimming pool or in a chemical plant. They are very durable which may make them more appropriate than painted shelving which tend to get scratched and then rust when roughly used. Each shelving unit includes 4 shelves constructed of 18 gauge stainless sheet material. Each of the 4 shelves has a total capacity of 600 lbs. of evenly distributed weight providing a total weight capacity of 2400 lbs. per shelving unit. Because of the open sides design, these shelves are accessible from all four sides. This makes them appropriate both along a wall or out from the wall for 4 side access. These shelves ship knocked down which saves on freight costs. Accordingly, assembly is required by the end user.
